ATTN: Dr. Strickland's patients

Hello, I just recieved my ins. approval and a date for lap surgery in March and I am scared to death. So far I really like Dr. Glen, but I would like to hear about others experiences.

Sandy, congrats, I have applied for coverage and am just waiting. You should come to the support group tomrrow night 3/3 at 6 pm at the lex med center medical building (right next to the hospital). There you can meet people who have had it with this group, and maybe they can help answer your questions and calm your fears. hello Lisa, Sounds like were in the same boat. My information was either sent off yesterday or will be sent off today to the insurance company. And then its the waiting game. When did you call to find out if they received your information? Did you attend the support group meeting last night? And if you did what did you think about the internal medicine doctor that gave the speech? Katrina

Congratulations Sandy! I am a patient of Dr Strickland's. So far he has been wonderful. I am supposed to hear from my insurance company in 1 week as to whether I am approved. Keep us posted on your results! Gwen

Hey! Dr. Strickland did my surgery 3-12. He is an awesome surgeon. I was out of the hospital in less than 48 hrs from my surgery!! He said I was doing so well after my 1wk appt and staples removed, that I didn't need to return to him till 4/26 I have had no problems with anything.
