The surgeon's office filed my claim with UHC either late Monday or on Tuesday. How long should I wait before I start calling the insurance company about approval?
I am not familiar with your insurance, but with most insurances that I have heard about, it takes 2-4 weeks to get approval. Maybe try after 2 weeks and then ask them how long it normally takes to be approved.
