Please Wish Me Luck

I'm officially switched over to United Healthcare now and someone from Dr. Ross' office is supposed to call me on Monday to let me know when they're filing so I can start poking at the insurance company about approval. Even though the surgery is covered if medically necessary under my new policy, I'm still scared to death that I'll be denied. It's the Cigna Effect, I think. Please just wish me luck that 2004 will be my year since I've been working on trying to get this surgery since exactly one year ago this month.

I had United Healthcare. I did not have any trouble at all and they paid 100%. You can look at my profile for details. My surgery was over $ 52,000.00 not counting the filter install which was about $ 16,000.00. Good Luck! Kelly Gunter
