She Shoots, She Scores!

I talked to the insurance rep from UHC who came to visit our employer yesterday. He showed me in the policy that obesity surgery is covered. All I need to do now is wait until the insurance kicks in and call Care Coordination on 2 January to see what the criteria for approval are. From the way the policy reads, the only criteria are morbid or severe obesity. If that's the case, things should start moving very quickly for me after the first of the year. I am so relieved!
