The waiting is the hardest part!

Hi everyone!!! The wait is killing me.I would love to hear from everyone with advice.The only thing that I still have to do is my mental exam,but that is going to be a little while yet.Everybody keep your fingers crossed!!!!!

Hi Annette, I know what you mean.My docter did my mental exam first.Then they sent me to a group meeting with the surgent and then made app.to see the surgent one on one.In the mean time i am in a support group for the last 8 wks.They faxed of my papers Monday and I talk to Ins today{Friday}and they told me I am Approved, now they will make me an app to have a light down my tummy to make sure ever thing is ok.That want take place untill sometime in July they only send people twice a month to have that done.I think I am looking at a surgery sometime in Augest. They will keep a check on me 6mts after my surgery and I go back every 6mts after that so they can check my blood to make sure I an still doing ok.I wish you Luck on your Journey.God Bless

i know what you mean... its taken me two year to decide to do the wls and one one else seems to be ready..lol my pcp is taking his time on my referrals. i went to a group metting last week. have appointments with the shrink and the nutrionest lined up.....so now i wait. at leat we are going in the right direction.
