Dr. Morris Wasington

 Has anyone in Conway SC had Dr. Washington for surgery? I will be coming from Michigan to have surgery in July. I'm self-pay and Dr Washington looks and sounds like a great doctor. 

Hey i found some patients that had vsg with Dr. Washington. I've seen nothing but great reviews for him.

The most recent I found was Teresa H, who just had vsg with him on 1-23-12. She gave him an excellent review.

I'm trying to find more :)

I to am looking at this Dr.  I have a phone consult with him this thursday.  I wish more people would post that have used him.  I did find a post by a girl that really liked him though i have to say the nurses sound like they need more practice.  The Iv was not in the vein and when they went to put it back in it took 5 sticks thats a bit much for me. She said the meds were burning like hell.

I found another woman that was quite ticked off because he left NJ quite abruptly.  His staff appearently didnt inform his patients he was leaving? Was he running?

Hey everyone.....I'm close to Columbia,SC.I am pre-op hopefully will have my RNY in June.I wish you guys could locate a surgeon close to you so you could meet him in person.I am anxious enough as it is...I can't imagine not meeting my surgeon until it's time for the surgery.Gena

I had surgery with Dr. Morris Washington in Myrtle Beach (Conway), South Carolina on 2/8/12. He and his staff have been fabulous. He has a cash price of $8000 whi*****ludes his cost (including nutrition and follow-up), anesthesia, endoscopy, and all hospital costs. He has done over 200 VSG's and is trying to get Conway Medical Center the Center of Excellence certification so they have joined forces and are offering a discounted fee. He practiced in NJ prior to moving to SC. I researched him thouroughly and found no derogatory info. Hope this helps.

I love Dr. Washington's group. I have been with them since December and my surgery date is April 29th. The process has been wonderful so far and I wouldn't change a thing other than the 3 week liquid diet!
