I need a psychiatrist who does phone consults for Bariatric or Weight Loss Surgery.. I need a Psychological evaluation. I was given the name of one here in SOUTH CAROLINA that emails you the paper work, you fill it out and SCAN IT and then EMAIL IT BACK ... OR.. you snail mail it back along with your $250 fee! He then calls you for a 40-50 min phone consultation instead of actually going into the office... I just DO NOT have that much money.. I am so CLOSE to getting my surgery, but I NEED THE EVALUATION! Does ANYONE out there know ANYONE else that does this type of over the phone/email evaluation OR is there ANYONE out there that can tell me of anyone that will do this CHEEPER than $250? I am desperate, I am even willing to do a down payment and make payments.. I want this, very BADLY, I am on MEDICAID in SOUTH CAROLINA and haven't found anyone that takes medicaid for this sort of thing. PLEASE, any help are all would be refreshing.. I am scared now and so depressed.. THANKS.

Sorry, I don't know anyone, but it doesn't make sense to me that you wouldn't be able to find anyone cheaper than $250. If you're on Medicaid, you can talk to the helpline and they should be able to point you in the direction of someone.

$175.00

I'm not sure if he will e-mail you the paper work...it's worth a try.
He is very nice, he even allowed me to make two payments on the $175.00.....

I found a Dr. right now the road from me, here in Elgin, that takes MEDICAID and I don't have to pay ANYTHING but my $3 copay for my psyc. evaluation.. I AM SO EXCITED! I go on the 25th YIPPIE.. almost done..
