1 bag will do
Well, I had to go to ER today ( I was having breathing problems, a bad head ache
,
vomitting
, the runs
, dizzy
, and feel like i just couldn't move) thinking I had a bug or something, and guess what it was dehydration. I wasn't feeling well, and then I got sick from something I ate, and it just snowballed. I was trying to drink but it kept coming up.....All the dr in ER here know me and know I have had surgery. so they check everything. As soon as they gave me a bag of fluid My head ache stopped, the vomitting stopped, no longer dizy and my breathing got better (I could cough up the phlem) but I still have the runs a little, so I just have to drink plenty and not eat until it stops .....I will be on liquid for a couple of days. So now I know 1 bag of fluids sure will do the trick.. But that needle stick doesn't feel so good, so SIP SIP Sip even if you are not a newbie.....and especially sip if you feel bad......later

vomitting

I'm so sorry you had such a bad experience. It sounds awful. Glad you're feeling better now. Thanks for posting. I haven't had surgery yet and it is good to know just how important hydration is. I have finally received a surgery date (March 3) so I'm back checking OH more often. Let me know how you continue to do and any advice you might have for a newbie.
