1 week to go - Starting the liquid diet today.
Well, I can honestly say, i went out with a bang. We went to my favorite resaraunt Friday, El Titanic, little Mexican place in Belton....God I'm gonna miss that place. Saturday we were supposed to all get together with a couple of our friends at Outback, but I couldn't go because my ack was killing me, so I stayed home and played WoW all day. lol I don't know if it was because it might be the last steak I might possibly ever eat, or if Outback is just that damned good, but I swear the food my wife brought home was one of the best meals I've ever eaten. And I finished it off last night with a bruger from Hardees for dinner and some donuts around 10.
So,I guess it goes without saying, I'm not really looking forward to this liquid diet. And least I can have cottage cheese and yogurt. Anyway, 7 days to go....

congrats !!! how was the class you had to take what all did they go threw with you there?are you getting a filter put in to help prevent bloodclots? It's just a little device you have to practice breathing into after the surgery. It's to exercise your lungs and helps prevent pnuemonia or other respritory problems after the surgery. It's no big deal. I had to do it after my last back surgery. I forgot to mention that the physical therapy people have exercises for you to do, both before and after the surgery.
Where are you having the surgery? Which surgery are you having. I was notified yesterday that I will be having surgery on March 6th and I went to the support group last night in Columbia. I talked to several people last night and they said they didn't do a diet before having surgery. I have heard different things. I was just wondering who you are seeing and which one your are having done.
