I MADE IT!!!

OK-sorry if this sounds like bragging but I am just way too proud so here it goes...I DID IT!!! The Goofy Challenge at Disneyworld!!

Friday 1/9 5K thru Animal Kingdom 34 minutes

1/10  Saturday 1/2 Marathon 2hrs 45 minutes (I stopped along the way to take some pictures with the characters-it is DISNEY!!), thru Epcot and Magic Kingdom

Today-Sun 1/11 ran the full marathon in 5 hrs 24 minutes (only stopped 8 times for photo's this time). Around Mile 21 the temp got up to low 80's...and it was tough. I was about to pass out 100 yards from the finish but thought NO FREAKIN WAY-I came tooooooo far from 2 years ago and WLS..crossed the finish line and made my way to the beverage tent to hydrate and cool down. Went to the medical tent-I have 3 bruised toenails (blood blisters under the toenail, might lose a toenail but sooooooooooooooooooo freakin worth it!!!

I am still in FLA and incredibly achey but feeling great! Thanks for letting my boast...its been quite a journey from 12/20/2006. Thank you Dr Bour!and Katie and the womderful staff at his office!!

yea for you !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I  wish I could run 2 hrs let alone 5 A BIG WOW !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I do work out tho but not that long I guess I will have to build up lol,so how much weight did you drop with all that running ,just so happy for you ,80 "s sound nice it is 25 right now here brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Thank you. And it looks like I dropped 10-11 pounds from this weekend activities. Although I am drinking alot of water to rehydrate my body...hopefully I will have lost at least 5lbs.
