UPDATE ON OUR RESIDENT STUD MUFFIN!!

I received a text this morning.. Seems our resident stud muffin Chris S ..has completed the first part of his marathon.. he's completed the 5k portion in 34 minutes!!!

GO STUDLY GO!!! 

HOWDY!!!

So today I did the 5K in 34 minutes...the course thru the Animal Kingdom is so flat-it was great! music from the Lion King was playing throughout the run...people cheering, it started with a countdown and then fireworks...wonderful race!

Sat is the 13 miler and then Sunday is the 26 miler...flat courses and again-its Disney so it will be fun...and hopefully an easy course

Just finished the 1/2 marathon. It was phenomenal. If you ever want to run a 1/2 marathon-Disney is the place to do it. The course is relatively flat, you turn the corner and there is a marching band...another corner there is a gospel choir. Just phenomenal. I finished in under 3 hrs...and all I have left now is the 26 miler

Chris you are a inspiration to me.   I want to run a marathon one day.   And to do it at Disney would be great.      In training
