Just posted pics of my new baby girl
I am new to this site, and new to using a forum, or whatever this type of communication is. I am in the process of being evaluated for RNY. Have already completed application for MUSC, completed the psych evaluation, and next week I go to the nutrition class.
Your post indicates you just had RNY in May of this year and you've lost 100 pounds since then? Is that correct?? I need this surgery (I currently weight close to 370...need to lose about 150 pounds), but I am somewhat fearful of failing (again) at losing weight. Can anyone give me input about problems they experience post-op or anything that wasn't expected that they endured. My surgery will be at MUSC, and I understand they are the best in the state of SC...but I am still afraid. Was the nutrition adjustment hard for you who have had RNY? Any advice or input would be most appreciated.
Thanks much,
Bill
