Need Help - Cost/insurance related

Hi,
I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction here. I need to find a surgeon that first, accepts medicaid and second, does not charge an extra $2000 that my insurance won't cover. I'm hoping that there is a surgeon out there that can do this. I need this surgery, but I simply cannot afford the $2000 extra since I am on SSI disability and money is a huge option. Thanks

Hi Wanda. Thanks for the reply. I guess I should've mentioned that I live in the Lakelands, Upstate area, near Greenwood, Anderson and Greenville.

I would suggest Dr. Paul Ross at Spartanburg Regional 864-560-7070 he has no additional charges.  He's also a very caring doctor.

I assume Dr. Ross accepts Medicaid? Thank you 1000 times for this info! I left the Bariatric clinic in Greenville Friday absolutely heartbroken because there was no way I could afford the extra payments. All I want is to be able to lose this extra weight so my back will stop hurting (3 spianl surgeries in 3 yrs) so I can go back to work. I haven't worked in over 10 yrs now. Thanks again. I'm going to have my wife call first thing in the morning!
