Hey Yall

Hey everyone, Im new to OH and Live in Goose Creek, SC. Im 2 months post op and 45 pounds down from 235 to 190!!! Onderland is the best. I was just wondering if there are any of you out there who are a little further along in there post op journey who have any advice on life after the honeymoon period of surgery that they could share with me! Well welcome I just moved here myself.... But I am almost 4 years out.... My advise dont test your limits ....find them and dont push them....... I was so good with sweets until a few months ago then I tried to push them and I still dump so it got ugly.... Another word of advise use the first 24 months as hard as you can.... after that it became a battle again for me...... also EXERSIZE..... The things you do now are the habits you will hold in the future........ I wish you luck...always here to help.....ron..and welcome

Hi Kala...welcome to OH.  You have a great doc....we love him!  Ron's advice says it all.  We are here for you!  We have a meeting on the 2nd Tuesday of each month where a group of us get together and just sort of talk about a little of everything and try to help with any questions/problems out there.  If you are interesed PM me your e-mail and I will add you to the evite list.

Hi Kala!  I'm not in SC yet...but we have already found a place to live (and put in the rental application and part of the deposit, so we have a SC address!)  We will be driving out of WA State on October 1st, and plan to arrive on the 9th!! Less than two months until we arrive.  My husband is Active Duty Air Force and we're moving to Sumter/Shaw AFB area.    Congrats on your weightloss so far!!  Keep up the good work!! And it's nice to "meet" you!

  I also live in Goose Creek.  Yes, Dr. B is a great man!  I am 4 mths out.  I have lost almost 70lbs.  I am still healing from my surgery.  Mine ended up being open after doing most as lap.  I am joining the Goose Creek Comm gym.  I like that it is only 35.00  a year.  But I just wanted to welcome you to here!!
