DS in south carolina?

i was wondering if anyone knows if the ds is done in south carolina any where and if so where?

I don't know of any in SC that does the DS but here's the list from OH of the doctors that does do the ds

I had the rny and have lost over a 100% of my excess weight and I'm doing just fine now... If you're using Dr. Ross, you have a great surgery team... He takes great care of his patients...

yeah i am gonna be using DR. Ross   i really like him and his group a lot, everyone is so helpful and nice!i agree  yeah  i was wanting the ds because of what i have read about excess weight and the percentages etc   but i reckon i will have to go with the rny LOL THANKS BUNCHES

I had the DS in April of this year...am LOVING my DS!!!! 

There are no true DS surgeons in SC...there are several that will say they perform the DS and when you get to their office, you find out that they only push the RNY (which is also a great surgery).  If you have specific reasons for wanting the DS, don't stop pursuing your surgery of choice.  I had several reasons....I needed to be able to take NSAIDS on a long term basis, I wanted to be able to eat more volume of food, no dumping possibility, etc.

I personally travelled to Marietta GA (15 minutes outside Atlanta) to use Dr. Dennis Smith.  He performs ALL types of wls and is great about helping find the perfect surgery for YOU.
