Does anyone know if there is a plus size consignment store in the Greenville area? or even in Anderson? I am running out of clothes to wear so fast and I can't spend alot of money on clothes that won't fit in a month or two. I tried the goodwill a few times now but they don't have anything fashionable for a plus size woman that is my age :(

It's hard to find plus size clothes in consignment stores around here.  I am just glad I have friends or family who have some things my size and you change sizes to quickly to buy a whole lot of clothes.  they have a clothes exchange on this web site too.

Everyone in my family is still smaller than me lol :P I haven't had any luck with the exchange on here either never get any replies back. I think that later today when my belly stops its morning revolt that I will head to Walmart to see what they have for a few cheap shirts. I used to love the fashion shack but lately I can't find anything decent in there.

There is a consignment store in Mauldin....called Kids and More. phone number is 675-9609   .I have made several purchases there.  I have taken all my larger clothing there to sell as well -so that I can buy smaller sizes!! :)  THe best Goodwill to shop at is the one located near Dr. Bours office on Woodruff.  I have ALWAYS found some great tops in there!.....the pants and skirts are slim...but you just never know.   Hope this helps!

Thats the only goodwill that I ever shop at and I never seem to find any tops there. I get my daughters play clothes there all the time so I am really familiar with the store it just seems that I can never find any shirts for myself.

Branch out on your Goodwill shopping.  My MIL is a Goodwill-a-holic and she hits several every week.  She says it changes from week to week which is the best store.

And I know it's a hella pain but that Goodwill Clearance Center on Haywood is the bomb!  You have to seriously dig through bins but everything is 99 cent a pound!!!!!!!!

I actually have some nice suits (jackets/skirts/pants) that are size 16 and maybe an 18 or two. When I was interviewing a friend gave them to me..when I tried to return them she said pass them on to someone else who might need them for work or interviews. I gave a lot of my other clothes away already. I can bring them to Dr Bours next week if anybody wants to look at them.
I cant make it this week to support group.

I have just one or two size 1x shirts also...let me know.

I forgot to also say, the new Goodwill on Clemson BLVD in Anderson has good selections. You just have to keep checking back. I know some of the stores at the mall take their stuff there when they can not get rid of it...Ive got some new clothing for good prices. My second choice is the goodwill on Woodruff.

Also Ross and TJMax have reasonable priced clothes.

When I go to the goodwill, I get sometimes the size smaller knowing I will be losing if I see something really cute that I like.

Also dont forget the outlet mall...they have good bargins sometimes too. Also most of time if you let people know at support group, if they have that size they will offer some if they dont need it anymore. You just have to speak up.

I havent been to the one on Haywood rd. I should check there. I do love Ross though but I just feel bad spending money when I am losing so much weight it feels like wasting money.  I think I will hit up that goodwill on Haywood Rd. this week though sounds like a great idea.
