Solid Foods-Stage 1??
Hi Melissa. It's alot easier than the pureed. You will have 5 meals instead of 6. You will be trying to eat 4 oz. of food. You will be having protein : meats. Please take small bites and chew, chew, chew. Believe me you don't want it to get stuck. I ate alot of can ham and chicken at first because it was moist. Like the hormel canned ham was really good. You will have veggies... cooked not raw. Fruits with no skins or peelings. Canned fruits are ok as long as they are no sugar added or packed in its own juice. Also you will be allowed starches....2 oz. a day. The best thing to do is eat your 2oz. of protein first then try one ounce or 2 of veggies or fruit or starch. They will give you a complete list of your foods for each group. It get easier as time goes on. I had to make myself learn to eat slow. After a few days of thing coming back up I learned real quick to put my fork down between bites. Good Luck . It does get better. Teresa M.
