Thank you so much everyone for keeping my family in your thoughts and prayers.  This is actually a story with a happy ending.  Linda had a true miracle within her body as we thought she was leaving us.  Currently they are telling us that Linda's kidney's are functioning at 65 % and she is increasing her red blood cell and hemoglobin counts.  My stepdaughter was a very severe drug addict and the years of abuse on her body truly affected her after she had her c-section.    Her little boy is with his adopted parents, vicky and andrew, and is doing wonderful.  We are lucky in that they feel as strongly as we do that this should be an open adoption and our sons should know each other.  They truly feel like family.     I'm posting a picture on my profile of my son (I adopted him from my stepdaughter) and his half brother Jayden.  I am an extremely proud grandmother and mom.    NOW......what about the 6 pounds I gained throughout all of this.  I see another pouch test week in my future.    Again, thank you my wonderful friends for keeping us in your prayers.  They were heard. mary

Mary, you have been in my thoughts and I am so glad your stepdaughter turned the corner.  That is wonderful! Julie

I can go the distance... I do not care how far... I know every mile will be worth my while.

My goal in life is to be as good of a person as my DOGS already think I am!
