6 days out & doing well

Hi everyone, I had my surgery last Tuesday and overall I'm doing pretty good. I also had to have what I thought was a medium -large hiatal hernia repair. Turns out it was a giant hernia and Dr. Bour had to pull 1/2 of my stomach out of my diaphram. I've had some chest pain from that, but otherwise am feeling pretty good. Just really glad to be on the losing side now. Thanks for all of your support and I guess I'll be able to meet some of you post-opers now in the support groups. Melissa

Congrats on being on the Loser's Bench. I hope mine goes as well as yours. Sorry to hear about the hernia atleast he was able to repair it while in there. Good luck with your journey.
