Originally from South Carolina!!

Hello to all. I am currently living in North Carolina but I was born and raised in South Carolina in a small town called North in Orangeburg county. I was wondering if anyone lived close by there? I am scheduled to have my surgery June 6, 2008. I am very excited and quite nervous. I know this is the best thing for me and my health. I grew up in a family that were overweight and have been all of my life. The one thing that I wish, would be for my mother to still be alive and see me after I have lost alot of my weight. But I know she will be looking down on me from heavan and holding my hand right threw my surgery.

I currently live in North.  I moved here in 1998 after living in Orangeburg for one year.  I'm not sure how long it's been since you lived here, but I doubt if it  has changed much. Shelia
