Surgery Pre Assesment Tomorrow

My surgery preassesment is tomorrow and I was wondering what is it going to be like? What kinds of tests and stuff will they be doing?

Iys been so long for me I honestly forgot .... But i wish you luck!!! the world that lay ahead will continue to look up....

If it's at the hospital they will take your medical history unless Dr. Bour sends it with you or to them ahead of time. They will do blood work, EKG, and vital signs. Some people require a chest X-ray, I didn't have one. It's nothing bad or out of the ordinary, just one step closer to your new life. Hugs! Mary

I had mine yesterday and they just take all of your medical history, what medications you are on, etc.  The only bad part was that Dr. Bour ordered ALOT of blood work.  They took 9 viles of blood from me.   It wasn't bad though, they only had to stick me once.  Melissa

They took about 9 to 10 vials from me too but I passed out when the needle slipped and my vein blew :( I woke up to a room full of freaked out people and I felt like crap.
