outpatient plastics scheduled in 5 days
Hey Marce, I'm 2 weeks post op tomorrow. I had and extended TT, lipo of the outer thighs, breast lift with augmentation, all outpatient in my surgeon's surgical suite. I was a little nervous at first but omg I was in the BEST hands, complete confidence in my Dr and my anesthesiologist.
Who is your surgeon? I did a lot of research looking for a PS over the last 2 years. My pics are on my profile if you care to look, WARNING NUDITY. Dr Thomas McFadden is a true artist in everyway, I couldn't be more pleased, he did A LOT of work on me and the first stitch was as perfect as the last!
Best of Luck and feel free to write me if I can answer any of your questions to put you more at ease.
I will throw out a few of the best tips give to me by ppl who went b4 me. Get yourself a raised potty seat(omg a lifesaver) a shower chair, take a large couch cushion and build up a recliner because thats going to be your home for a few weeks. I put a small bookcase next to my recliner with everything from books, pens, thank you notes, magazines, my ipod, laptop, cell charger, lotion, tissues, chapstick(another biggie) that way all that was right at my fingertips.
Take it slow, it's gonna hurt, take meds to stay ahead of the pain, don't let yourself get hurting b4 you take the next dose, don't be afraid to talk to you PS if you meds aren't relieving you. Oh and if you haven't already, up your protein starting now and the whole time you are in recovery. I have been doing 3 Profects a day for weeks and you can see how fast and how well I have healed, my Dr has been amazed!
Ok I will shut up, write me if you want to!

Hey, Kimmy! Thank you so much for writing! First of all, let me say that you look amazing! I hope I look half as good afterwards! Congrats on your healing so well.
I appreciate your advice so much! I will write with some further questions I have.
I am seeing Drs. Fowler and Wallace. I haven't seen much about the two of them posted here, but I feel quite comfortable with Dr. Fowler. I haven't yet met Dr. Wallace, who will be assisting with my surgery. Have any of you all used either of them?
I will let you all know how I am getting along next week. Thanks so much again!
Marce
