I won the battle!

the insurance battle that is!!!! As most of you know, my insurance company "Approved" me for all of my plastic surgeries.. and I had the surgery and then they denied the claim for 30k bc it was "Weight loss related" . Well I fought it! They denied it twice saying it was their final decision, and I wrote in a formal appeal letter stating all the facts of my case and all of their discrepencies and why I thought they should pay my bill.. well I got a new Explanation of benefits in the mail yesterday and they PAID THE BILL!!! IT said you owe "0.00" to the provider! THANK GOD!  Because there was NO WAY i could of paid this bill out of pocket.. Especially since Insurance didn't cover my gastric bypass i felt like i was being cheated TWICE like a bad joke! IM SO GLAD ITS OVER!!! Now I can take a sigh of relief and Enjoy my new body instead of looking at it as a 30k dollar bill! lmao hope everyone is having a great week!

THAT is a hard battle to win-I cannot believe you won. Thats FANTSTIC!! Congratualtions. I had a fight with them over my surgery and appealed and appealed, and lost...and owe $16K.  What a relief for you!! Enjoy that 30K body! Wait-that came out wrong Chris

Well congrats now you can lend me 7,000.00 to get rid of my man boobies please ..ill pay you back next tuesday for a boobie job today???? Way to fight them insurance companies they denied me because the exclusion was weight loss surgery and habitual drug usage!!!!
