Okay I have lurked and lurked and can't find anything on caffeine.  Am I the only one suffering from caffeine withdrawl?  I really need a caffeine patch!!  Any suggestions will be greatly

appreciated.  I have away the soda, but can't seem to switch off the coffee machine.  My friends tell me to take a caffeine pill just so I done bite their heads off.  Is there anyone out there that bows down to the caffeine God or is it just me?   Please help!!  Thanks in advance.

Sorry Wanda,  I quit soda which was my source of caffine about 3 months before my surgery.  It now makes my stomach upset just to smell it.  But on a good note, have you tried the b12 pills that melt under your tongue?  They gave me instant energy.  I hope this helps, Tammy

Thank you Tammy, I will have to try that.  I really hope that I can do this.  To some this seems like a little speed bump but to me its huge.  I will get through this.   Thank you again Wanda

I always drank two huge mugs of coffee in the mornings before surgery, but after, I can't stand the taste!  WEIRD!  Everyone says our tastes would change, mine sure did.  BTW, my doc said I could have 2 cups of coffee a day after surgery, but I don't want them!  Good luck!

They let me have coffee in the hospital as far as I can remember , but I was limited to 1 cup of caffie a day . I still drink a cup everyday before work & it isnt decafe either ( whats the use !!) I think your Dr will allow you to have a serving a day , just remember that it had no value when it comes to hydration, just the  oppisite SO be very careful , trust me , deyhadration is a *itch & will kill you !! huggs  Allen you will do fine !!

Hi There, If you go to Walmart they have little packets of stuff called morning spark. It's next to the crystal light packets. They have caffeine in them,my favorite is the apple flavored,k you just add them to water and sip sip sip. I used them when I was post-op. If I'm really struggling I will have a diet coke watered down to get rid of the gas. Hope this helps Lesley
