need some low country help!

I'm going down to Parris Island next weekend for my friends graduation from the marines.. and I can't find ANY hotels available that aren't 200/night near the beaufort area.. ANY IDEAS on where city wise to stay near there that might be available??? everything seems to be in hilton head etc.. THANKS!

Jenn, you might want to try the town of Ridgeland, it is exit 22 off of 95 & I would GUESS its 25-30 miles from the entrance to Paris Island, It is a Beautiful 25-30 miles though! Take 278 out of Ridgeland to 170 & 170 will go right past the sign to Paris Island . The rooms in Ridgeland will be ALOT less than those on HH .and it is more of a small town with all the nice things that small towns have.The Days Inns # is 843 726 5553

Your MOST Welcome Jen, I work for SCE&G & we supply electric power to most everything from columbia down towards the coast & I drove a Tractor Tralier for them till about 3 years ago & switched to a pickup truck & alot less travel .Anywayyyyyyyyyy  I also have a "Deloreme" mapping program that I own, it has every telephone number that is listed in the USA !!!  I can find numbers by address or name that I know of , I have no idea what all the thing will do BUT it has a USB GPS & thats the main reason I bought it , when I travel on Storm Teams with my Company, it is priceless to know where your at !!
