I Got Approved!!!!

Carmen told me today that my insurance approved me and that I will be having my surgery on May 13th. I don't know what time yet because I have to do the optifast for 1 month and that doesn't start until April 11th. I am so excited and scared all at the same time its all very surreal.

congrats!!! that is awesome you met someone on here who is going to have it the same day as you! its a blessing to have someone so close that you will do this with.. I met one of my best friends from dr. bours when i was having my endoscopy she was waiting across the hallway in her gown and i was shaking like a leaf.. she helped calm my nerves!! she had surgery a day before me, and we went to all the classes together.. she is on here, Patti :) it will be here before you know it and youll be a loser!

Hi, Jen is so right, we met and we have walked each other thru a lot, me as my gastric-bypass was a day before her's and she had her reconstructive surgery weeks before me. I hope you are as lucky and make friends with some wonderful people. I have met a lot of people who meant a lot to me in a very short period of time. They help me a lot because they understand. I usually don't type messages this long but I am so happy for you guys and remember to take pictures, measurements and tract your progress, drink, get your protein, and do what they say ! You too can be a loser! Patti
