Hey and welcome to the greatest group of friends you will have for this journey.  You help to remind me how excited I was when I first started my journey and what a blessing this site is. You will meet some wonderful people *****ally care and are concerned about you. Ask all the questions you want... the people here are fabulous!!!! Pam

Thank you so very much!  I am really looking forward to meeting people who are going through the same things I am right now. The fact that all of you are in the same state is great too.  Thanks

Thank you too, I would really like to find someone that has used my surgeon or goes to the support group meetings in my area.  Thanks

Hi, We have not set a date yet but my hope is that it is done before May 13th of this year or I will have to wait until after my family vacation in June.  I do have one question.  How hard is the clear liqued phase and how long were you on it?

welcome to the boards! the clear liquid phase we were on it for the day prior to surgery, and we were on liquids for almost 2 weeks, then full liquids (creamy soups, etc) another week or so, then pureed foods, then real foods about 5 weeks out .. its not as hard as it sounds because the stomach hunger is usually gone.. the head hunger is the issue i had, i WANTED to eat.. lol.. but ALL doctors are different.. some patients dont leave the hospital without eating SOLID foods. .which sounds nuts to me, but obviously works! LOL.. i would of had a stroke if they made me eat solids that fast lol..
