Hi Kris.   First off, you are in good hands.  Dr. B is a wonderful doc and he and his staff will take good care of you. It is so normal to be both scared and excited and you will have all kinds of emotions between now and when you have your surgery.   I can honestly say this is the best thing I have ever done and it has changed my life...... How long it takes is very individual depending on your size, if they run into any problems, etc.  I would plan on at least 2 hours and tell whoever is with you not to worry if it takes longer. Good luck and keep us posted on your progress.

Thank you so much for the support.  How long before you were able to exercise other than the walking in the beginning.  I am nervous about getting the protein in.  Not to mention, hair loss.  I have fine thin hair and definately don't want to lose any.  Any comments or suggestions?  Kris
