Three weeks out, you should be on solid liquids, yogurt, pudding, etc.  If you're trying yo eat a regular diet, you weren't educated enough prior to your surgery.  DId your Dr. have a pre-surgery education program to prepare you for the changes in your lifestyle?  COnsult a dietician who is familiar with bariatric surgery.

not all doctors require the same eatting style as others... but I learned that before you eat 30 mins. to drink something warm it helps wash out alot of built up mucus (sp?) and then you'll be able to eat your small meals... but it does help if you're starting out on really soft foods and not trying to eat meats that are really tough on the lil tummy... good luck and I hope this helps Stephie
