If you like to golf, there's TONS of golf courses to play.  Also if you like to shop, there's also a lot of shopping.  If you like fresh seafood, I suggest travelling north on US17 just over the North Carolina line to a little fishing village called Calabash (you'll see all kinds of "Calabash" restaruants in MB but they're nothing like the real thing).  Calabash is a nice small little town about 10 miles from North Myrtle Beach.  At the restaurants, they have the fishing boats docked behind the restaurants.  Sometimes we make the trip from Columbia just to get some fresh seafood.  I haven't been to MB in a couple of years since they've shut down the Pavillion

Thanks for the input.I have been to MB on a golf trip before but I don't mix golf and biking. When I'm at bike week i'm a biker.I do love fresh seafood but the NEW me spends less and less time finding places to eat.Prior to my surgery I was a wrecking machine,I could really pack in in! I will take a ride to callabash though, thanks again, Bob

Hi Tina,I love surfside beach. We are staying in the windy hill area.I rented a condo there. We like to ride ,so the 15 -18 miles to surfide isn't bad.We really enjoy the SBB.I like the one on the bypass the most.We have visited the rats hole, sbb and always looking for something new.I do enjoy all types of crowds from mild to wild,I don't care for the violent crowd. Thanks for the input,Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks again,Bob

Hey Bob..Yeah surfside is nice and rather tame...MB is where it gets nuts. My fiance says he knows exactly where the windy hill area is..nice place...I am sure you will find all kinds of fun things to do.. Be safe and I hope you have a good time.

Hey I just spent this past weekend in MB!  Love it there, always have.  I did the Ripley's aquarium for the first time and enjoyed that.  We also tried a new restaurant and it was really a different experience www.rioz.com.  Hope you have great time, be safe.
