Well, I cannot get the tummy tuck covered because even with all the documentation I have the insurance company needs pictures of rashes, etc before they will pay, I did not take pictures!!!  I did find out today , that they have approved my breast reduction! I have also been approved to get my hernia surgery done. I just need to find $6,000 and I can pay for my tummy tuck, pray for me!  Donations gladly accepted!!! LOL Jen sounds great everyone, she is a trooper and Jen, I am glad you did this one before me!!!!  Patti

I had my "tummy tuck" two weeks ago.  The recovery has been slower than I would have hoped.  I'm down to 181 after a top weight of 336.  My insurance (BChoice) approved the tummy tuck with no resistence.  My pannus hung within 4 inches of my knees.  A misdiagnosed post-surgical blot clot sent me back to the hospital.  Fortunately, there was no clot.  The swelling in my legs has disappeared and I hope to have my drain lines removed this week.  My wife says I'm looking "goooood".  I'll be back to our Tuesday group real soon.  Hang in there, Patti.
