the day after..
so its the day after..and im alot sorer than i was yesterday.. my breast look and feel like they could pop.. they are bearable sore though.. not too bad.. the tummy is really sore. but not unbearable pain. dr. bishop called me this am to check on me and said he would be up here at lunch time to check on me and i could go home after that probably when i wanted. i told him about the lost bra and he said he was calling the OR... i explained they already had and couldnt find it. he said it wasnt a huge deal to not have a bra for the first couple of days for the recovery aspect, since they are wrapped up good. i asked what size i should get he said at least a full C, probably D but i will be swollen too.. i was wanting to be a Full C small D since my shoulders are so broad and im 5'10.. after i got off the phone a lady from the OR came up with 2 bras they had to give me.. everyone here has been SOO NICE. i have not had one bad experience, except the bra getting tossed with the laundry.. lol. during the night i slept through a pain medicine hour, and didnt wake up to ask for it and the pain caught up with me about 4 am, i started crying and realized real quick it hurts worse to cry! lol so i stopped.. but thats the only emotional time ive had so far.. under my gauze on my abs you can see blood around the belly button.. i assume im leaking there.. hopefully its normal i just noticed it and will show dr bishop. when i stand up today its alot tighter than last night, plus the local they put in me wore off totally so i feel more pain when standing.. i have to droop over like an old lady. trying to pull the tray around to myself and stuff i cant do now, it hurts my pectoral muscles too much since they put the implant under the muscle.. i cant lift my laptop im scared i will hurt something. they took out my catheder this morning b****pt snagging it on everything, ouch! lol.. i feel like i need to massage my boobs to feel better but im afraid to since he hasnt said to.. plus i have the incisions below from the lift and i dont want to compromise anything .. they are sitting up pretty high but dont look "weird" from what i can tell with the ace bandage around them.. maybe he will take the bandages off today and let me see and change the dressings.. hope everyone is doing well!

Glad you are doing good. I still can't imagine not having the pain pump, since it actually injected numbing medicine ( marcane), for the first week after surgery. You must be one tough cookie, lol. The boobs will settle down and not be so high up, but it will take several weeks to do it. Mine were still swollen at 6 weeks. Keep us posted on how your doing and take care to not over do it. Can't wait to see your new bod, lol.
Love Ya!

Hi Jen, glad you are doing so well. Your boobs will drop...don't worry. Once they healed a bit they told me to massage them....so wait until the doc says to. Sounds like you are doing well. You are so lucky to have done all of this while you are young....it is a lot harder on us older ladies..... Take it easy and keep us posted.....I will continue to keep you in my prayers....
