Stimulus plan sails through

The economic stimulus package will provide: $600 for individual taxpayers making up to $75,000 annually.

 

$1,200 for couples making up to $150,000.

 

$300 per child.

 

$300 for people who pay no taxes but earn at least $3,000 in wages, Social Security or veterans' benefits.

Guess where the money is coming from?...................Next years taxes. This is an advance on your next years taxes, not free money. Next year you will deduct the amount you get from your return. Which i think is ridiculous especially if we are still in a recession next year too, the economy will just fall apart because we will get less than we usually get. Just wanted to let everyone know I just read this on MSN two days ago but the link is no longer there you will have to search for it. It said something like where is the money coming from for the tax stimulus. Tina

Yeah, and we get to add it to our income next year, which will make our refunds smaller and in many cases make it more you have to pay back to good ole Uncle Sam  . Got to love our government, they have it all figured out, lol.
