sooo funny!

my mother in law sent me this.. lol Saying Goodbye to Mother     You Don't Have To Own A Cat To Appreciate This One!  You don't even have to like 'em! We were dressed and ready to go out for the New Years Eve Party. We turned on a night light, turned the answering machine on, covered our pet parakeet and put the cat in the backyard. We phoned the local cab company and requested a taxi. The taxi arrived and we opened  the front door to leave the house. The cat we put out in the yard, scoots back into the house. We didn't want the cat shut  in the house because she always tries to eat the bird. My wife goes out to the taxi, while I went inside to get the cat. The cat runs upstairs, with me in hot pursuit. Waiting in the cab, my wife doesn't want the driver to know that the house will be empty for the night. So, she explains to the taxi   driver that I will be out soon, and says 'He's just going upstairs to say Goodbye to my mother.' A few minutes later, I get into the cab. 'Sorry I took so long,' I said, as we drove away. 'That stupid ***** was hiding under the bed. I had to poke her with a coat hanger to get her to come out!   She tried to take off, so I grabbed her by the neck. Then, I had to wrap her in a blanket to keep her from scratching me. But it worked! I hauled her fat ass downstairs and threw her out into the back yard!' The cab driver hit a parked car..........

Hey :) Im doing okay! Feeling better now. .i was sooo sick with almost pneumonia it was bronchitis with bronchio spasms or something. i had to have an inhaler and meds .. im finally back at work and have my 18mth appt today with dr. bour!  (20 mths now but had to cancel due to them rescheduling me) i think we're always nervous when we have to go for a check up! how is your tummy doing?? I hope the infection is gone! im nervous but ready to get it over with. ive stressed enough for this surgery for 6 mths now lol.. im ready to be done with that phase of my life! lol jen

Hey, glad you are doing better.  My infection is getting there.  Went to doc today expecting a release to go back to work and he said come back Monday and we'll talk about it...great.   I told my boss originally I would be out 10 days and we are working on week 4 next week.  He says the incision part is looking "great" but apparently the hole part heals from the inside out.  Basically they slit my incision open about an inch and made a hole about 5 inches deep for the infection to drain.  we have to flu**** and pack it with this gauze (Jerry says it looks like a worm when he takes it back out).  Anyway, when that starts looking better it means it is starting to heal on the inside and then will heal slowly outward.  Probably 4 to 6 weeks. Okay, probably too much information and don't let this scare you off.  I would do it again in a heartbeat.  It is so great to be rid of all of that skin and this isn't something that happens often...just my luck.

not too much info at all! Im just sitting here thinking "who would pull out my worm?" LOL Bc i know rob wouldnt! .. guess my mom would .. God forbid that happened to me.. im so sorry youre going through all of that! hopefully it will heal super fast! Am i crazy, i have a cruise scheduled 39 days after my surgery, what u think? i bought the insurance so i can cancel if we have to.. surgery is feb 18th, cruise is march 29th.. think its possible?

Hey, if I ever doubted how much Jerry loves me he has shown me the past 3 weeks.  The poor man has had to do lots of things I would rather not have asked him to do...and hasn't complained..only teased me a little...lol.  I think you will be fine on your cruise.  Dollie had her surgery Wednesday and is already sounding great.  I have some underlying medical issues that make my immune system a little weaker and I don't ever seem to have a "simple" recovery.    Only thing I wonder is will you still be wearing the compression garmet?  Our doc makes us wear it for 6 weeks and I'm not sure it would be comfortable on a cruise (it certainly isn't any other time).  I have been "released' from wearing mine until the infection heals but then have to start my 6 weeks all over again....  We are going on a cruise April 12th (getting married on the 15th on the beach in the Caymans).  I didn't buy insurance so I'm going no matter what......

yeah he definately loves you for that!! And CONGRATS!!! thats awesome you guys are getting married in the caymens!! Wouldnt that of been funny if we were on the same cruise lol.. mines earlier though. leaving from Tampa.. Inspiration. and if i have to wear the garmet i will when i sleep maybe i can get by without it otherwise?  we shall see! keep us posted on you and be sure to take plenty of pics of that wedding im sure it will be gorgeous!

getting over my sickness finally! i can breath somewhat now lol.. going to see dr bour today.. *YAY* lol. let him feel of my hernias and see if he wants to come into surgery with dr. bishop and fix them for me. (hey can i hope right? LOL) he will probably say no. not to mention he is probably already scheduled with someone to have surgery on that day since its a monday.. we shall see! :) How have you been??
