Feeling better today (Yipee!)

Hi all.  Okay, so I am not doing any cartwheels or anything, but I do feel alive again.  Doc "flushed" out my wound yesterday and says it looks better.  I managed to sleep most of the day and all last night and feel like I am back again.  Don't think I will be able to venture out much this week (definitely going to behave myself), but am SO GLAD to be feeling better. To my LCBBers, I know I won't make it this Thursday but promise to get back on schedule/track next week.  Love and miss you all.  Thanks for the support through this!

Glad to hear your finally feeling back to normal. I slept so much last week I think I've made up for all that I've missed in my lifetime.LOL Can't wait to see you and your new body. I don't think I will be able to make it for the next few weeks either. Calvin has basketball at 5:30 and by the time we are finished there it's time for dinner, bath, story and bed.

My advice to you is to take things slow and easy.  I never dreamed my wound was infected and that knocked me down harder than the surgery did.  I slept all of yesterday and am glad to finally feel better today.  Don't think I'll make it back to work til next Monday though....but at least I will be well when I get there. Take care and hope to see you soon...but I know the kids and their sports are the most important!

YOU need to rest & take it easy it will take some time before you feel norm I know I did & the swelling will take about 6 months & then I still swell if I over do it ,glad you are feeling better tho get in extra protein so you can heal faster alos
