I've got a date

Filter will be put in on 02/18/2008 and surgery will be 02/26/08.  Please make room for me on the losers bench!!!!! 

Thats great that you have a date!!! what is this filter that you mention though?

I believe they put this in if you weigh a certain amount.  However, my Dr said I didn't need one I wanted one for piece of mind.  If you should have a blood clot the filter will burst  before it can travel to the lungs/heart.
