I am trying to plan a weekend stay to myrtle beach in Feb and I need your help.  I need to find a play to stay that is nice, cheap and clean.  I would like an oceanview and did I fail to mention cheap but nice.  I am not talking about the city hotle/motel but it don't have to be a 20star resort.  If you have any suggestions please feel free to let me know because I am having the hardest time with this.  Also I would like to know of some things to do while I am there!  Thanks in advance

ebay is a good start.  also, if you are willing to do a timeshare tour, you can stay in some very nice places very cheap (some even free).  let me know if you want more info.

There are several places I like.  One is the Landmark Resort.  I like that one the best.  Another one is the SandCastle south, or the Sea Mist Resort, and Ocean Reef resort.   I like the south end best, but some people like the North end.  They all have indoor/outdoor pools and ect.  Look them up on line and check thier specials.  We had a big get together for SC weight loss support groups last year in Myrtle Beach and we all stayed at the LandMark.  We also go several times a year there.  Enjoy your visit. We are also going in Feb and will be staying at the Crown Reef, It's a really nice hotel and isn't that expensive this time of year. Tiffany has the link above so check it out. There are TONS of things to do there. You will never get bored. LOL We are getting a King size suite with whirlpool and ocean view for 106.00 per night but thats also with military discount. Otherwise it's like 103.00 per night plus taxes. Still good price for that nice of a hotel. Good luck and I hope you find something you like.

The Crown Royal  (oops!  thats a drink )  The Crown Reef is a nice place.  It lights up purple at night.  It's also the first one on the strip so you can find your way back by remembering that.
