My parents suck

I cant... my sister is flying home from Nicaragua. She has been there a week doing missions work and processing an adoption. ANYWAYS... she returns home tomorrow and I have to babysit my 3 neices while her hubby goes to get her.  But Im working up the courage to go... I promise!!!

I had no problem turning 30, it was my 29th bday that I hated!  Just remember it is just a number.  I am approaching 40 and I do not feel like it.  It is like this surgery gave me back my young mind set. Thanks for the birthday wishes!  OH is becoming like a second family.... I had a great day.  I dont mind age... the peace of mind I am obtaining is FAR worth the number going up! And the two grey hairs I keep finding and plucking out... lol

Happy belated B'day, do you think your parents forgot your b'day. As a parent and grandparent, it is hard for me to keep up anymore. My kids have to email and call me and say, don't forget it's so&so's b'day give them a call. I don't know that this it the case with your folks, but I'm just trying to give you some insight into what might be going on. Heck, I've even forgotten my own B'day (LOL) no big deal! Just be happy that you are here and healthy and able to see another b'day. Good luck.

Happy (belated) birthday, sweetpea!!  And I'm right there with you about being pissed!  Wanna know why?? The 7th was MY birthday - a little older than you, 51 & NEITHER OF MY DAUGHTERS CALLED ME ON MY BIRTHDAY!  I got one text close to the end of the day & a 'belated' text on the 8th. But you know what?  I didn't let it bother me (too much) because Debbie remembered, Robin remembered, and my co-workers remembered.  I'm happy with that.
