A WOW weekend!!!!

I have had such a great weekend that I had to share.  First off I got some jeans from the OH exchange a size 16W.  I got them for later but they actually fit now.  I could not believe it.  I was so excited b/c I had been wearing size 22 (42 mens).  I don't understand this size thing b/c I have some reg. 18 that someone gave me and they are smaller than the 16W.     Then I went shopping this weekend and ran into people that I have not seen in a while.  They didn't even know who I was.  Then they couldn't not believe it.        I AM IN ONEDERLAND!   WOW,  I have not weighed less than 200 lbs since before I got married over 23 years ago. 

I know everyone else has had WOW moments lately, so everyone share.

I gave up trying to figure out the sizes on pants. I now know that I have to try on everything before buying because even the same pants in  the same size, but just a different color, might not fit the same. I am also finding that since my plastics and since I have such a short waist that I have to buy midrise pants. I need fuller in the waist than the middle and butt so the midrise end up sitting on my waist where regular fit jeans should be, lol. I also know now that my extra padding around my belly  is what kept my pants up, so I am also having to wear a belt with a lot of my pants.  But, I am a lot happier having to wear a belt than I was having the extra flab and lose skin around my belly, so I won't complain. I just wish the clothes manufacturers in these overseas companies could make all their clothes the same fit, it's fustratiing since I hate trying on clothes in the stores. Anyway, congratulations on the 16's, you won't be in those long either, so don't buy alot of clothes, I already made that misstake too many times. Love ya! Mary
