WOW

I rode a horse today all by myself.  I've wanted to do this for the past 9 years when my father bought horses for the farm.  Finally.......I DID IT M

YaY for you Mary Those WOW moments are so wonderful. What kind of horses does your dad have? I've been riding all my life and use to show the Quarter horse circuit. My horse was #1 in the state 3 years in a row. I still have 1 horse but she's used as a brood mare now and doesn't get ridden much unless I throw a halter on her and ride her bareback. Glad you had a good time.

he has two quarter horses and one American paint.  The one I rode is Sunny Boy who is a quarter horse and very obedient.  I've always loved to groom them, feed them and be around them, I just was so big that I was afraid to ride.  I wasn't really scared because Sunny knows me well.  I can't wait to do it again!!!!! That is wonderful Mary.  I haven't ridden since I was a child.  I went with my girl scout troop once and was humiliated when they asked my weight and then told me I was too heavy (and I only weighed 250 then....)   Congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
