Well I did it!

Well, it definetely wasnt the color I was looking for, I now look like Howdy Doody, carrot orange. My hair is just not taking the color for some reason. My daughter is now on her way over to try to help me get it straightened out, if it can be. No telling what color I am going to be by the end of the day. I'm about ready to shave it all off and go get a wig. I wish now I had just left my hair its nautural color of silver. Lesson learned the hard way! Have a great day! Mary

Well here is an update, lol. She brought over a dark ash blonde and we used that, it still didn't cover up the orange all over, so she tried adding highlights to see if it would blend better. Well, I ended up back to the carrot orange, so we used the remaining portion of the dark ash blonde and covered my hair with it again and it finally turned a color I can live with. It has some lighter highlights but at least they aren't  orange, lol. So that's it, no more dye for now, I don't think my scalp can take much more, it's sore as heck now. Hugs! Mary

Mary, be sure to use plenty of conditioner the next time you shampoo your hair. Using so many different products it will make you hair brittle. I'm glad you can live with this color. I had a few trials myself. Teresa M.
