Anyone with a lap band out there

I was wondering if there is anyone on this forum with a lapband?  It seems like everyone has had the RNY.  I thinking about having the lapband and I would like to hear what your experience has been with the band.  I want the good and the bad.  Do you have any regrets about choosing this particular surgery over the RNY or the other surgeries out there?

I have the lapband and I love it. Im down 65lbs in almost 8mths. Could be more but I haven't been exercising like I should. What doctor are you seeing?

I'm going through Dr. *****ett here in Columbia.  I have some concerns because he just started doing the lapband this past summer.  I know he has a lot of experience with the RNY but not with the lapband.
