Relocating to Myrtle Beach - need some help please!

Had attended the meetings at Dr. Bour and was getting ready to pay the 2k for the surgery and find out that dear hubby is being relocated to Myrtle Beach and we are moving November 9th  Now I am going to to need info on surgeons in that area...Anyone out there that can help me out and be my friend please lol  Thanks!

Hi, I am originally from Myrtle Beach and my family still lives there and I have had several family members and friends that used Dr. Anderson in Conway, which is just about 10 miles west of MB. Just thought I would let you know. There are not many gastric bypass Docs in MB but Dr. Anderson must be pretty good never heard anyone say anything negative about him. The only other close place is Georgetown, SC and I can not remember my cousins doctors name there but I am sure you can find it. Georgetown is only about 30 min south of MB. Good luck on your journey!! Theresa

The practice in Conway is closest, though I've heard good things about docs in Charleston.  You can do a search by state on the boards here, and then go meet some of them until you find one you're comfortable with. Good luck with the move!  MB is fun!
