A WOW Moment

Last night--1 day after the marathon race---My family walked around the neighborhood to work out some of the aches and soreness, and I wore my Lander winter jacket which I wore LAST winter (and it is so big on me now)....and as my wife took my hand to help me thru the neighborhood I realized that 10 months ago today-----I had put on the same jacket (I wore it all the time last winter-it was the only jacket that fit me) and she took my hand and walked me down to the end of the cul-de-sac and back (.2 of a mile) while I worked out the aches and soreness of the operation.....and here we were working out the aches and soreness of running 26.2 miles.... Thats when it hit me, this WOW moment. What a journey it has been and its only just started!! Thank you all for the support and kind words. I appreciate it

AAAAHHHH... now THATS A WOW MOMENT!!!!!! CONGRATULATIONS CHRIS!!! UR A GEM AND A TRUE ROLE MODEL OF WHAT THE SURGERY IS SUPPOSED TO BE ABOUT!!!! May GOD CONTINUE to BLESS YOU MORE THAN YOU COULD EVER ASK OR IMAGINE AS YOU CONTINUE ENJOYING LIFE AND ALL IT HAS TO OFFER!!!

Thank you Ms Mary. My Mom was soooo proud. My mother in llaw is not home from Europe yet, but I am sure she will be very happy!! Thanks for bringing THAT up...joking

 Dang it, I just got my make-up on and you made me cry. You have come so far and I am so proud of you.  I know your wonderful wife is too. That's funny, I had to buy a new coat yesterday too.  I put my last years coat on this past Friday and it wrapped all the way around me.  It's a nice "big" coat, but I was so glad to "have" to get a smaller one. Keep enjoying life sweetie...YOU have worked hard for it!!!!!!!!! Deb

That is tooo sweet! We are so proud of you, but I'm with Stephanie.    I totally HATE it when I can't make fun of you.  I can think of a thousand things, but i have to keep them to myself so I don't ruin your WOW moment.  THAT should really show you how much I care.
