Wow I didn't know they had a forum for each state here. That is awesome! Well I have my first appt. with Dr. Bryne next Thursday. I am excited and scared. Did everyone who had him like him? I have so many ?'s of course when I get on here I don't know what to say. Just mainly looking for people to talk to that are going through the same as me or have been here. Thanks

Hi there & welcome! You're gonna find a lot of support & a lot of great people here, so feel free to ask as many questions as you want!

As for Dr. B - I happen to love him! Tho he's extremely busy, he's been a great doctor & surgeon. I had my RNY on 9/12/07 & it went smoothly. To quote him "It was textbook." I've seen him a couple of times since then although I work with his staff (especially Diana Axiotis, his PA - she is FABULOUS!!) most of the time.

Like I said - ask all the questions you can think of - we'll help any way we can to get you to the "losers bench"!! There's lots of room...

I just turned in my packet to Dr. Byrne's office on Friday!! I am still in the beginning but I am so ready to make some progress!!! I have heard that he is AWESOME!!! I can't wait to meet him!!These forums are alos GREAT for info!!
