Approval

Hey everyone...I got my plastics approval and a date!!!  Oh my!!!! Gonna get the TT on Dec. 10th!!!!!  I am excited and scared all at the same time. Woo Hoo

The insurance company came back and said they needed more information before they would approve.  I wrote a letter detailing the issues I have with skin infections and tearing.  Even though I didn't seek medical care I told them the dates and my OTC teatements. Next thing I know I have approval.  I got some advise from people here on the wording of my letter and it worked!!! Thanks to everyone!!!

Who's your insurance carrier?

I have BC/BS of SC Blue Choice.  Where I work they have negotiated a very good plan for us that is extreemely bariatriac surgery friendly.

Thanks for the information. I now have United Healthcare and will be having my consult with the plastic surgeon on Monday, 10-29 I'm not sure exactly what to expect. Thanks again
