Marathon Week is Here

Well-I made it. I'm running the Spinx Runfest 26.2 mile marathon this Sunday in downtown Greenville. I've been training hard and with the support of many (thank you Melissa, Kathy, Dawn) I am ready for this.  I ran 21 miles last Sunday in 4 hours, I ran this Sunday in 15 miles in 150 minutes. I am so ready and pumped. Wish me luck, I might need it -especially if it rains Chris

    Wow Chris, that is so neat.  You are such an inspiration,  I am just know up to walking 2 miles and here you are running 26.2 miles, OMG.  I would never believe that I would do that.  Wishing you luck

I am so excited about this for you!!!  You are going to do great no matter what.  I am so proud of you for pushing yourself to the limit.  You are an awesome inspiration to me and many others on this board!!!!

I have already checked the weather for the weekend and it is supposed to be great!!!! I will be there from the beginning to the end for you my friend-- cheering on my MOST FAVORITE marathon runner. I can't wait to see you cross the finsh line.....hey if there were a table I'd dance on it for you when you finish

I hear they are going to have a table at the finsh line for those who would like to dance on it, then it said something about bring $1 bills for tipping...hmmmmmmmmm

I am very proud of you! I can't believe that that little 5K would turn into this.   And now that I have said that, can you please let me know the name of your crack dealer?  I gotta get me some of that...

I am so happy for you! I am hoping within the next year I will be able to start running also. With inspirations like you, Kathy, Melissa and Dawn  I know I can make that goal! Are you familiar with iRun?
