Hey board...  I wanted to ask  some of you post ops... those of you that had skin irritations or darkening issues before the weight loss that were a result of chafing, rubbing, etc... After you lost your weight, did they stop, change, go away, fade etc? Im curious... and I dont want to sound GROSS... but I wanna know what happens to those imperfections.... thanks.. and GOOD MORNING!!!!

Dark skin on the back of the neck, in the armpits, at the waistline, in between the thighs, etc. is actually a sign of severe insulin resistance and a symptom of PCOS.  With the weight loss and change in diet, mine has faded DRAMATICALLY.  Also, Chafing thighs is not a problem anymore, well, because of the weight loss.  My thighs STILL rub together because of skin issues, but becasue there is more room for MOVEMENT, it doesn't happen to the point of pain or irritation.
