Drink your water
Do as I say, not as I do. I'm sitting at home ine Lortab Lalaland waiting on the results of my CT scan, but I have kidney stones again. They were testing to see how big they are and whether or not I have to have a procedure tomorrow to break them up. I didn't ask questions about the procedure, just hope I don't have to have it.
And this happened because the main rule that I break is getting my water in. I'm terrible about it and we eat such a high protein diet that we have to get more water in than ever.
So believe me, Kidney Stones REALLY REALLY hurt, drink tha****er.
Mary
Mary,
I met you at the last group meeting at MUSC. You stayed afterward and talked to me and my sister. I sent in my application and got a call from the dietician today - scheduled for psch appointment tomorrow. Hope you don't have to have the stones broken up. My brother-in-law has kidney stones all the time. Hope to see you at the October 3rd Thursday meeting at MUSC. Thinking of you.

Mary!!
Take care of yourself! Kidney stones are NO fun...and from what I have heard, even the least invasive treatments are no walk in the park. DRINK YOUR WATER LADY!!!!
I'm sorry you are at home not feeling well, but it explains why you haven't answered my e-mail! And here I thought you were IGNORING me...
I'll PM you...
Oh NO!
Mary, I got your voice mail ... you called when I was LOCKED OUTSIDE today. (sigh ... I tried for about an hour to wake up Mr. Oxycodone with the doorbell and banging on the window by the door ... now I am covered in mosquito bites. He said he thought I was "hanging pictures." Anyway ... we went for his MRI late this afternoon. Hopefully we'll know more by this time tomorrow.)
I am sooooo sorry to learn of your kidney stones! I hope they can clear things out with a minimum of pain on your part! Poor Mary!
Love!
