Made it back home today and it is sooooooo nice!  Still very sore from the gas, but other than that things are going great!  Did a lot of walking in the hospital yesterday and passed gas this morning.  So a lot less sore now!  Haven't stepped on a scale yet, but I go in on Mon. to have my drain removed! YAY!  Thanks everyone for the thoughts and prayers and all the support!  I am going to take my seat on the losers bench now!

I am so glad all went well. Man! We had our drains in for 2 weeks! I'm jealous! Welcome to the loser's bench! You have some great company over here!

Hugs,
Karen

Congrats!!!!  I had to have my drain in for 2 weeks also, which stunk.  I came home from the hosp. weighing more than when I went in, LOL.  Just make sure to keep those fluids going thru ya.  Have a great weekend.

YAY! Welcome home - I'm so glad you're home and feeling fine!  Take it very easy and yes, sip-sip-sip! It's amazing how much you're going to change in the next week, weeks, months, etc.! Every day is a new day since the surgery. I won't sugar coat it, some days are harder than others, but keep a positive attitude and look to the goal - it's all worth it!! {{Hugs}} Hellen
